The weather here in Utah has been absolutely ridiculous this spring! I’ve never seen so much rain in a desert state in all my life! As you can imagine, it’s been very frustrating for me and for my brides. Kenzie & Brady really hoped that their wedding day would be spared.
Mother Nature had other plans and it rained all day long on Kenzie & Brady’s big day. I’m happy to report that the couple was not deterred in the slightest! The two of them were so happy to be married that they didn’t mind the rain one bit! Plus, they say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Not that these two need it.
Their rainy wedding day began at the beautiful Payson Temple. Luckily, we had the foresight to photograph their bride and groom portraits in advance. The love in the air around Kenzie & Brady and their well-wishers was inspiring. The bride looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress! It was completely perfect for her. Their reception at the Copper Creek Event Center in Springville was so lovely and classic! I love that this couple doesn’t really follow what’s trendy but sticks with what they love and what is timeless.
I’ve mentioned before how much I love the two of them, but it’s worth repeating. My favorite thing about Kenzie is the effort she made to really become a friend of mine. I felt like she genuinely cared about me as a person. It’s easy to see that she treats everyone in her life the same way. The room was filled with people that I could tell just loved her and were so loved by her.
Congratulations, Kenzie & Brady! It was an honor to capture your day. I hope it was everything you ever dreamed of despite the weather.
