Wintry Couples Session at Jordan Pines || Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah

It’s a small, small world! This lovely lady named Megan contacted me about photographing a couples session. She found me through a friend that I was in nursing school with. When I saw her last name, I was joking with my mom that maybe they were related to a family we know back home. When Megan showed up with her husband, Brennan, I recognized him as the son of that very family. Now, you should know that I am from Elizabeth, Colorado. It’s a town with a population of 1,352 people. Somehow though, this is the fourth couple that has had some connection to my hometown!

Megan & Brennan have been married for three years and recently moved back to Utah from San Francisco. Coming from California, it was only fitting for us to photograph their couples session in the snowy, wintry mountains. Spending time with the two of them made me homesick for Colorado. I can’t wait to head back to visit my family for Christmas! Megan & Brennan, thank you for being willing to risk frostbite with me to capture this really sweet time in your marriage. I hope your toes have finally thawed!
