Winter Engagement Session on the Snowiest Day of the Year || Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah

I’m so excited to share this lovely engagement session today in honor of the first snowfall of the season here in Utah. Shayla & Matt drove down from Rexburg, Idaho for this session during the biggest snow storm of the year! Most couples would want to reschedule and not have to brave the freezing winter weather. However, these two were not only willing but full of excitement and a sense of adventure! Their engagement session found us climbing snow-capped mountaintops that reminded me of the Grinch’s peaks just north of Whoville. We were hip-deep in snow drifts– Shayla in a dress– as we watched our hands and toes slowly turning purple. These two were down for ANYTHING though, and we had a great time! I know that whatever comes their way, Shayla & Matt will do it together, smiling and laughing the whole way.

You can read more about Shayla & Matt’s love story and see photos from their beautiful Ogden wedding here!
