Sweet and Sunlit Bridal Session at the Logan Temple || Logan, Utah

I mentioned a few months ago on social media that my sister and her husband (and my baby nephew!) were moving to Logan, Utah. It’s been so fun to have them within driving distance! I’ve visited them quite a few times in Cache Valley, and I honestly love it there. The first time I drove past the beautiful Logan Temple, I knew I HAD to shoot there! This story ends happily, because last week I finally got the chance!

The Logan Temple was the fourth temple ever built by the LDS church. It was completed in 1884! It’s the second oldest temple currently in operation (the St. George temple is older, if you’re curious). I love the look of it. There’s no other temple like it. It sits at the top of a hill overlooking the valley. If you ever get the chance to visit Logan, drive past it at night. The view of the temple on the hill when it’s all lit up is just stunning!

The adorable couple I got to photograph in their wedding attire was so cute together and so affectionate to one another! The two of them met playing soccer. Katie played defense and James played offense. Katie’s gorgeous wedding gown is from The Perfect Dress. One of my past brides, McKenna, created the gorgeous flowers for us.

It’s SO helpful when my couples choose to do their pre-wedding day bridal session at the temple where they will be married. I can’t recommend this option enough! We’ll have the perfect lighting, you’ll get tons of beautiful pictures, and we won’t be fighting the crowds. Also, being at the place you will soon be married all dressed up in your wedding attire is sure to make you SO excited for your big day!
