They’re back! Remember Aleisha & Ethan from their adorable winter engagement session? This cute couple tied the knot this last Saturday on March 7th. They were married at the LDS Bountiful Temple and had a lot of family and friends there to support them on their big day. Even Aleisha’s brother (in cardboard form), who’s currently away serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was able to make it. In fact, I thought he was actually real a couple of times and freaked myself out. Insert meme, “Keep calm, and don’t let cardboard boxes scare you.”
I have to take a minute to talk about Aleisha’s stunning wedding dress! It was completely handmade by her, her mom and her grandma, it was beautiful in every single way! Something that made it unique, was the wristband Aleisha could put on to hold up her train. She looked gorgeous and it was flawless.
Their reception later that night took place at the Oquirrh Mills venue in Stansbury Park, Utah. This venue has such a charming and rustic vibe; it was perfect! Aleisha and Ethan win the award for most printed engagement/bridals at their reception. Everyone was a BIG fan of the Cold Stone Creamery ice cream bar, they know the real way to everyone’s heart. The night came to an end with some dancing, cake cutting and a sparkler exit.
I loved how authentic and real these two are, they made it so easy to capture how in love they are! I had the best time getting to know them and being a part of such a wonderful day. They are headed off on a cruise for their honeymoon—hopefully to somewhere sunny.
Bon voyage and a big congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Devey!
